Find Experts And Pay Them To Teach You!
Remember how I said my blogging efforts were futile? Remember how I said that Google and Yahoo were refusing to hit some of my sites through my blog?
Well, it turns out I was missing a front slash (/) on one line of PING code....one teeny tiny / was screwing everything up!
I paid a guy to show me what I was doing wrong...and the result?
23 sites that had ZERO traffic for the first half of November have been POUNDED by the search engines!
My traffic has doubled in under two weeks. My adsense income has gone up nearly 600%.
What I am going to share with you is "MUST-OWN" IN MY OPINION! You cannot afford to wait patiently for engines to index you. This method is proven. I just cannot humanly say enought good things about it. If you market online, if you make websites, you simply must own these videos, PERIOD.

Thank You Google!
I have been tracking my total number of pages indexed in Google from all my sites. On October 30th I had a little over 1000. By November 15th that number is now over 5000!
I have seen a nice spike in traffic, and of course, more traffic generally equals more dollars. Now don't think the formula is $x5...it takes time for the pages to be found, to rise up in the ranks etc. But half the trick of making money online is to get the blooming page listed so someone, somewhere has some chance of finding you!
Here's my sage advice to anyone reading this who wants to make more money on the web. It will take a MINIMUM of 6 months to see any kind of decent result if you are just using search engine traffic. In the beginning I was checking the search engines and my hit counters every hour to see if anything was happening, and it was driving me nuts. My advice is keep publishing no matter what every chance you get the first year online. The more pages of good content that you create, the more chance you have of being found. Period.
Those sitemaps I accidentally blogged a couple of days back...nothing so far. The way I got a bunch of sites googled in a hurry is I linked back to them from a PR5 chat forum. The spider bots generally hit the chat forums a couple of times a day. Just don't spam them, add some relevant discussion and link in the sig file without a lot of hoopla.
If you are making sites, think ahead to April. Christmas season is over for us, if you aren't optmized and listed by now, its too late. What kind of pages can you create in time for spring?

More Blog Stuff
I was messing around recently with sitemaps. We all know that a good sitemap makes it easy for the search engines to index deep into your site.
I accidentally posted nearly a whole sitemap on one of my blogs. It looks terrible, and so far the engines haven't done anything with it. But on paper it seemed like a good idea. Plogging And Binging
Again, I think it comes down to links INTO the blog more than anything...if no roads lead to a restaurant, it won't get many customers.

Blogs and Backlinks
I have been tracking the backlinks from various blogs that I post to, and traffic to sites that I link to.
For example, one of my websites that I recently created, Weightloss Slim Diet was mentioned in a blogger blog that I set up. In 2 months it had not been hit by the Google bot from that Blogger post.
I linked it from a Moveable Type blog that had a PR of 3, and it was indexed within 48 hours.
What does it all mean? Some guys think that randomly posting to blogs is a quick method to get a site indexed. Like any backlink, the real important factor is the popularity of the blog.
If you post a comment in this blog, you'll probably get a search engine bot to find you within a day or so. This site gets a fair bit of bot activity because of its PR.
NO porno back links please...my wife gets annoyed!

What Does A Bush Victory Mean?
Sat up until 1 am last night watching the US election. Not really surprising, I had figured on a Bush blowout because the polls said it was a dead heat.
Now that it looks like he's won this morning, what does it mean?
If you read my paid newsletter, The Razor's Edge this month, you'll know that I am bearish on the economy over the next decade.
You can argue a compelling case with an aging population, record twin deficits, an unpopular and expensive war, household savings at near record lows, a housing bubble, tech stocks trading at 100 PE multiples, record consumer debt, etc. etc.
I still watch my favorite bulls Kudlow and Cramer every night on CNBC and I am still watching my trucking stocks rise in our Platinum Portfolio, but I am starting to plan for the rainy season.
My advice? Remember, free advice is exactly that, free. But I would urge you to cut your debt to the bone over the next 12 months, get a little gold in your portfolio (or a lot), and sit on at least 3-6 months worth of cash. And get your butt in gear building your residual, leveraged streams of cash!
The more streams of income you enjoy, the dryer you'll stay in the rainy season....
